And are you saying that if the brother still does not repent, and you treat him like a pagan or a tax-gatherer, you are still eligible for God's forgiveness if you have not forgiven that person? Is that your overall interpretation of the scripture, that you can appear before God with dozens or hundreds of people who you think have sinned against you and have not repented, and you have refused to forgive, and still ask God for forgiveness? Is this your interpretation of Christian theology?
