We can always rally and don't need a reason, although any of the ones you stated will do. I will attribute it to short covering. Bears are convinced that this thing is done.

how come everyone here didn't trade it long? What's long?-g Actually I doubt any coin could have been made that way either. It looked more like a prop job than a ramp. Personally a rally tomorrow wouldn't surprise me that much. As for the Softie swoon after-hours it may not mean anything but that thing really looks like a completed flat on the dailies out of the July low. Great structure in the 'c' up too, nice 5 wave move with symmetry (so far).

<so what> You have taken up the AA mantle well, Freep. Essentially, one has to do SOMETHING while dying a slow death watching this thing meanander aimlessly. I guess my method is to discuss conspiracy theories. If we finally do get some direction, I doubt I'll care news (time to put the work gloves on!) I do think there is some benefit in watchin' da news....Sometimes I like combining technical and fundamental arguments. I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it gives me a certain comfort level. Of course, technicals rule...I use some fundamental schtick as an ancillary indicator.. If we rally tomorrow, I'll hold my short until a short overthrow on the 1347 (and then reassess). That would make me flat over the last 2 days (up nice after today), and I can live with that. I think price AND volume matters, but whadda I know? g A pleasure as always, Freep
