Former BellSouth Executive to Lead Internap's Worldwide Marketing Efforts Telecommunications Veteran Named Chief Marketing Officer
ATLANTA, November 07, 2002 - Internap Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ: INAP), a leading provider of intelligent routing services over the Internet, today announced that David L. Abrahamson, a former senior marketing executive with BellSouth, has joined the company as vice president and chief marketing officer. Abrahamson will oversee Internap's worldwide marketing strategy, programs and product management. His primary focus will be on driving growth through new products and services, developing strategic partnerships and increasing public and business awareness of Internap's world-class Internet-based enterprise services.
Prior to joining Internap, Abrahamson led BellSouth's e-business applications and services organization where he was responsible for developing and managing BellSouth's Internet data center products and services. Abrahamson was a key executive responsible for BellSouth's advancement in Internet services, including the launch of managed storage services, voice application hosting and complex managed hosting services.

Abrahamson began his career with Sprint where he held numerous senior management positions in accounting operations and finance before becoming a key marketing executive in the consumer business unit. During this period, Abrahamson launched the most successful marketing campaign in Sprint's history, growing revenues and margins at twice the market rate.
Abrahamson graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and business and obtained a master's degree from Kansas University. Abrahamson is actively engaged in the Atlanta community, serving on the board of the Georgia Arthritis Foundation as vice chairman of Financial Development and on the board of advisors for Quality Care for Children, a non-profit organization focused on the development and well-being of underprivileged children. Abrahamson resides in Alpharetta, Georgia, with his wife, Pam and three children.
