RtS, how about this happy scenario (for longs).
If the employment report is strong, everyone buys stocks because the recovery is here.

If the employment report is weak, everyone buys stocks because the Fed will cut rates and drive money out of bonds and banks.

So we'll have the best of both worlds! I just hope Greenspan doesn't quit on us. At least not before he drops rates to zero.

Thanks for trying to get more on the Bank of America blurb on the semi-equips. I'm sure it is more of the same, however, that the "public" has been subjected to the past 3 or more months. It looks like it is going to be awhile until some positive comments come out of the brokerage houses.
