I dont know what the big deal is- this guy only did what CEOs seem to do routinely- trade on inside information and then swear that they did not have that information at the time they made the trade! I mean Winnik had no idea GLobal Crossing was going belly up when he sold $125M worth of shares- even though he was on the phone everyday with the CEO. It is really vital that someone with some political clout step in and force CEOs and BODs to represent the shareholders. or oust them without golden parachutes.
