a company warns that they won't make their earnings and revise from .35 down to .17 but then 3 weeks later have earnings and beat by earning .18 and everyone gets wood. I'm almost getting numb to it. How many times did analysts revise down Q3 estimates? three or 4 times? How far down will they have to lower the bar for Q4 before companies can beat them? And remember any YOY comparisons will be getting more and more difficult as we put 9/11 behind us. What will they use for the next excuse? I am becoming convinced that a good share of our population is too stupid to have money and need to be separated from it:) That's what they are doing. We're witnessing the biggest transfer of wealth in the history of this country.
