That means nothing. If I were a black man, and were subject to harassment (rocks through the window, a cross burning on the lawn, telephone threats) calculated to get me to move, would my refusal to move make me complicit in any manner with the racist scum? Or would it be a sign of character, and the sort of act without which housing integration would never have become widespread? Sure, it takes both sides. So what?
