It is not what is good or bad for me, i reiterate, if i in anyway base my assumptions on what is good or bad for me, i am fouling up severely the process of forming my views. One can, if he wishes to post 10charts and write several thousand words; make, i believe, a very solid argument that the NDX100 longterm fair value is 500/ or about 700 for COMPX. Based on P/E a rally up simulation of 1932 to 1937 would be an exercise in society committing suicide at this point in time. It could be called "Blood on the Casino Floor", as any such mad attempt will end up badly. Gene i feel my social concerns are extremely deep and i am forever amazed at how people censor out all the implications of their extreme high risk taking---you think my negativity is lack of "thinking nice things for all", but i am in fact trying to put forth that a continued attempt to carry bizarre P/Es, or to justify it, and is naught but a ritual in self-destruction.
