Its unbelievable to me the amount of anger I've had directed at me when I suggest to friends and family members that Martha was a casualty of the angry mob. If you ask the average investor what they would do if their broker called them and told them to sell their stock because they knew that the CEO was selling big and the stock was dropping fast maybe one in a hundred would say they'd hold because it was an insider trading violation. Most would sell without even questioning. They only want her to go to jail because she is rich, famous and successful beyond what they will ever be. What pisses me off, the assistant will walk with a slap and he's the registered one, he's the one who committed the far worse crime. Him and the firm who offered him compensation for keeping quiet. He called her because he was trying to curry favor with a big wig client passing info, he knew he was committing a crime.
