Good grief, guy, if the cost of the casket is your big concern in your old age you need some sort of enlightenment. Donate your body to science, tell them to have a pot luck service and save your loved ones the cost. I guarantee you won't know the difference. Take me out to sea, float me down the river, bury me in a pine box down by the stream but by all means don't waste a dime on a freakin cemetary plot and casket. I have a good friend whose ashes are buried under my magnolia tree. That tree has the most beautiful blooms in the spring and every spring I think of her and thank her. Its exactly what she would have wanted short of about thirty more years of healthy life.
