You want proof? Here ya go, read it and weep...

The Democrats blame Paul Wellstone's sons for putting on the memorial, and say, "How dare you criticize how they produced it!" Of course, this exactly misses the point - which is the whole point of saying it. Those sons did not put on that memorial. It was stage managed by the Democratic National Committee. Proof comes in the form of Bill Clinton's recent trip to Hawaii.

The Honolulu Advertiser reports that Clinton "rallied the faithful" for the election at events that "were promoted as a tribute to Patsy Mink, the congresswoman who died Sept. 28 during her re-election bid." Actually, she died in the hospital. They make it sound like she died on the campaign trail. Note this next line: "Clinton used the tribute as an opportunity to urge people to vote Democrat in this year's governor's race."

So, Clinton hops from Minneapolis to Hawaii and does the same thing. The paper reports that Clinton was "heckled" when someone shouted out, "Liar." Clinton responded, "Newt Gingrich once told me, 'I'm sorry we have to be so mean to you, but if we fought fairly, we'd lose every time.'"

Is this not sick? I can hereby tell you Newt Gingrich would never say that to anyone. Of course, they never bothered to call Newt to ask him. You don't confirm Bill Clinton's word if you're in Hawaii – and certainly not with the word of a Republican or Newt Gingrich. What this story proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is that Bill Clinton's fingerprints were all over that Wellstone memorial pep rally. They disgraced the memory of a good man.

Are you suggesting the "memorial" was respectful to the mourners? Why was Vice President Cheney asked not to attend? Wasn't that a political maneuver not to allow mourners to come and show their respect? Is that all Senator Wellstone stood for, just a political rally? Wasn't his memory more than that to his political "friends?" It was a disgraceful trick to bill the event as a memorial, and the media was sucked into the whole scam, wretching his soul from the grave only to use it to further their own political careers... the only sacred thing at that memorial were their own political futures... a shame on all of them...
