I think there are some things you can infer about posters who've been here awhile. But they can surprise you, too, I agree.

But a lawyer should be able to think rationally. If they're any good.

Actually I think a "cyber-personality" can get a good idea of another "cyber-personality" if the former has enough real life experience, if one has run the gamut of real life... No one here, IMO, is a good enough act(oress) to hide their real persona.... Their core personality, their values, wants, joys, triumphs, defeats, frustrations, jealousies, etc eventually leak out between the lines..

Just my reading of my readings of SI..
