I appreciate the links and the information that you have provided. I do read the notices for companies on the CDNX website under the CDNX Info link all the time, and find it quite useful. It use to be even more of a help, before the TSX took them over, and removed the insider trading positions of the insiders. It was terrific to be able to see insiders shares holdings and warrant and option numbers for the companies, along with their insider trading history of transactions.
I may have been looking at the private placement closing the wrong way. What may be really important, is if a news release is necessary when the company's private placement is approved by the CDNX exchange. For I assume that the share price of a company won't be allowed to rise, until the exchange has approved the private placement. Since it seems, if a stocks price rises past a certain level above the placement price ,the exchange requires the company to raise the price of the private placement also. So what I should of asked , does a news release have to made to the public when a private placement is accepted and approved by the CDNX exchange ? Which then allows the company to begin the promotional stage and the subsequent rise in the share price of the stock. I'm trying to figure a way to better determine when a company is close to letting the promotional stage begin.

TIA

Would some of you other "old hands" take a gander and see if something newer is available with more modern "linkage?"

Thanks muchly.
