Good points. I'm LT bearish but other than that I flip from long to short sometimes intra day. The survey question was do we go beyond spx 950 in the next few months. I counted "few months" as 3. As of yesterdays close it was less than ten percent away. So it was really a "is the top in for this rally" question. At least thats how I thought of it, if the top is not in we have to go up at least that much. Heck we might get there on monday,provided of course that the top isn't in.
