Aside from price, what do you see that allows you to believe the market is going significantly higher, now?

Your technicals don't mean crap when the trend changes

What in the world tells you that the trend has changed? Give me one good reason why this is different than Mar 2001, Sept 2001, July 2002 or any other rally we have had. Ooops there is a difference, the volume is worse and the internals are worse. Comparing this to 1982 is such a stretch that it barely deserves comment. You provide absolutely no evidence that this is a comparable move.

In this strange, heavily shorted environment a rally has developed

When the countless people I know who are still fully invested in equity mufus are short, then we'll talk.

My view has to do with the way this particular rally is beginning to work.

Give me something...anyting...that tells me what this means or why its true.

I've only been doing this shit for 29 years so take it FWIW.

Then you should know better than to make outrageous and overly definitive statements like you've made here.

FWIW, I do not know if we have seen the bottom or not, but I do have specific parameters I look for when its time to short, and they are now screaming at me. If we break the large neckline on the SPX H&S then I will be happy to entertain the possibility of a new bull, until then its just noise.

But there have been times, Roger, when you have been wrong about the market. Wrong and lost a lot of money. But congrats on making the right call for the past few weeks.
