"3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Now are you right and the scriptures wrong... or are the scriptures right and you are wrong?"

A carnal man cannot ascend into heaven, but the redeemed sons of God can. James (Santiago) is correct when he speaks of the Christian entering into heaven because through their faith in Christ the Christian is filled with the Holy Spirit, united with God, and becomes one with God. This is what it means to be Born Again not of flesh nor of the will of man but of the Spirit of God. We become the children of God, a holy nation and royal priesthood.

As for your other question that since Satan believes that God exist he should also be saved. Satan's belief that God exists is based on his personal knowledge of God, an empirical fact, and not on the "believe and be saved" in the scriptures that means to believe in the sense of adoration, love, worship, obedience and glorification. It is similar to a child who believes that his estranged non-supporting father exists but does not BELIEVE IN HIS FATHER for love, support, friendship and nurturing.

The fact that you fail to discern the difference between BELIEVING IN as in a fact of nature and BELIEVING IN as in trusting and loving indicates that you may have also missed the central message of the Gospel.
Do you confess that Jesus Christ is the only begotten, not made, divine son of God who died for your sins?
