Carter - It might be a MSM5105 chip. There are a bunch of kyocera phones that are voice 3G but Sprint isn't supporting them as data 3G. For some reason Sprint doesn't seem to be supporting these phones for high speed data even though I think the 5105 could do high speed data. I also figured that when the data was available these phones would be able to do it but I guess not. Tom

I was told by more than one Sprint rep, including guys from "corporate headquarters" at the State Fair that all Sprint phones are 1x. If it says Digital by Qualcomm it's 3G and at least 1x enabled.
