Bear, quite interesting logic from the judge, apparently: 1) a lie is not a lie unless you are there, in person, to witness it, and 2) the Freedom of Information Commission is not as qualified as the judge to interpret and follow their own rules. If the entire hearing is tossed out, of course I'll file another FOI request. If the lawyers decide to appeal, which I would hope they do, the loser of that battle will likely appeal to the CT Supreme Court. Therefore, as was intended by the NHPD by miring this in the courts, it'll probably be years before they are ever forced to release anything of value. Meanwhile, a killer is still out there and any clues the public might learn that might lead to a break in the case will remain secreted away in an NHPD file folder gathering dust.
