OJ, On the week of 10/7 I had picked up several financials for a hedge as VIX appraoched 55, AXp, C, and FBF. I got so nervous with the brakdown of internals on the 10/09 that I sold all and held short. We all know what happened 1 day later, what is disbelief is what I have seen the last 2 weeks. The INTERNUT BULLS seem to have crawled out of the rocks and all of a sudden the BEAR is run over and in CRITICAL CONDITION. The question is can Greeny and his Plunge Protection Team save the BEAR??? or is it a BULL?? When stocks w. terrible fundamentals, ie CHIPS, all of a sudden rally as LRCX has 100% in 3 weeks in the midst of not just bad numbers but a still far from over CONTRACTING business climate, the only question that I have is not whether were in for a CRASH just WHEN?? btk WEAKENING last 3 days tells me NASD is as good as finished. Can we have more of a blow off top, yes but it will only make the fall that much harder. Don't think we make it to 1400. SOX is probably the best short in a very long time. take care my friend!
