Some people predicted capacity utilization of 100% for all of 2000 and 2001

The best tech analysts were predicting in 1999 that the telecom financing bubble and the overspending generated by Y2K fears would result in a tech downturn. However tech bulls scoffed at this analysis.

Why? You back this up with no data whatsoever. Boom and busts are a part of the industry; and in case you weren't aware, we are currently at the bottom of a bust.

I have posted my reasons. Whether or not you agree with them is another matter. As far as being at the bottom of a bust, tech bulls have been saying this since June 2001.

As far as the wonderful shorting opportunity, it is currently being created but not here yet. I do intend to go for it when the timing appears right. Possibly after the next FOMC meeting or after AMAT's earnings report.

In my opinion current SCE prices are not supported by fundamentals. I realize that this is a minority opinion here but I have not yet found anything to change my outlook.
