Generally, and that is my bet, if they have made it this far, they must have done some real job, made some genuine accomplishment, and is savvy enough to survive the intrigues.

The next leadership will be even more collective than this current leadership, and thus, in some sense, more stable.

China's Script has been written, namely 'reform', and now the grunt work must be done.

The Hu, Wen and Wu clique will be able to do reform, as they are reformists, experimentalists, and they need to seek greater legitimacy through wider consultation.
