That is a load of crap. You could be pretending to be a lawyer face to face the same way you are pretending to be one here. The internet does not make a person a liar. A scoundrel is a scoundrel. People have been deceptive and phoney for thousands of years. "Could be, could be, could be" is not an argument for anything. Yes, you "could be" a cowboy from the planet XXXXXXXX, and I could be the king of a small island. Just a way for stupid people to derail intelligent conversation. People who want to engage in role playing constructs can go to gaming sites created for that purpose. Your example about the person who posted her columns was intrusive and ridiculous. I read papers with many columnists and contributors. But "I also realize that those columns could be written by someone totally different and they are really just wanna-be columnists who are pretending to be those persons." Yeah, and the kid selling chocolate bars at my door "could be" a midget trying to get money for a bottle...blah, blah, blah, blah, blah....
