Thanks for the info Ian. Important to be nimble next week methinks. I have been waiting for this pullback to get my cleepers on some good long positions to swing on the next leg up. But I am keeping a sharp eye on support in case the "overdoing it" continues on the pullback... Seems that the market is getting much better at doing the un-expected and I don't really trust it much..lol..

", things are indeed getting strained here.....1390 (not sure of exact # - dont have charts up) should be a formidable obstacle and definitely aug/22's 1425 threshold will not fall without effort; volume is underwhelming...new highs nowhere near where i would like to see them ...this is without question a time to exercise caution if initiating new positions and also a time to be trailing up stops and consider taking profits on existing positions....a nice retrace is looming"

there are so many perfect shorting setups i've been licking my chops for sooo long now. i do believe we go higher tomorrow though but and i do mean but ...this might be the final move up and then the pros may fade it. volume is low as you said, losers are often outpacing winners, the NDX and S&P are about the same area as a week ago. we are at or about resistance everywhere and we are overbought...funny i am still on the sidelines. i think the move will be strong when we get it but I HAVE NO CLUE WHICH DIRECTION. all my intuition says short but i will watch a while longer.
