But wait, if you do some research on what has moved the last 2 weeks the majority of stocks are actually POS's. Telecom, Chips and others. while the BTK has been stagnet as have most of the retailers, Home Builders, and Finacials.

Looks like the stocks that have the worst outlook have done the best.

you're telling me. the stuff I am short in my "investment" account (stuff I rarely trade) overall haven't hurt me the last two weeks. It includes financials like COF, NCEN, MTG, RDN, MBI, etc., a bunch of builders, a retailer (S), and some other miscellaneous stuff. Even the education stocks haven't hurt me, since CECO has offset COCO.

But I started adding heavily to semis two weeks ago in my trading account and I've continued to add. They are killing me.

I had to run some errands Friday and didn't get to check the closing on my "investment" account until late Friday. I was surprised to see that w/o a few techs mixed in, I would barely have been down on it Friday. It is clearly a momentum market.

The crap is always the last to rise as investors move from good companies to speculating in the crap because everything else has already made its move. Whenever the crap floats, you can count on the end of a trend being near.
