Re: travel -- The belligerence of the Bush administration caused a friend of mine to have a strange experience in India last month -- for the first time he was the only AMerican/European in the smaller towns. He kept getting asked what he thought of the new administration's policies. Just after 9/11 he had friendly experiences. This time the questions were wary, like "what the heck is going on over there in America with your government?"
