The referees rigged the game and the Okie St players cheated. Since the Aggies were so far ahead with one minute left, they allowed Vernon Grant to intercept the pass because they felt sorry for Ok State on their Homecoming day. After consideration of the aforementioned, the final score was: Texas A&M 123 Oklahoma St. 28
