You have the right to become a dingbat too. That doesn't require you to become one. I'm just so fed up with this constant carping about Falwell, Bush, and the lawful rights of others, I react to it sometimes. Flail away at Falwell and Bush all you want. Don't expect me to let it pass. I know the Bill of Rights perfectly well, thank you. Ever since the radical sixties when people like Wellstone, Bill Clinton, Timothy Leary, and flower children of every description started smoking pot and singing kumbaya our politics have become very uncivil. I don't like it at all. Too many people would rather take potshots at Falwell than debate ideas. I don't agree with Falwell either, but too many on this particular thread have compared him to evil-doers Saddam Hussein, Hitler, Osama bin Laden, and the like. It just goes to show how desperate you really are.
