So the load becomes 2.7% for $1000 trade, which is quite heavy. Even with $2000 1.4% front load you are paying 10 times VFINX's yearly fee. Definitely not suitable for dollar cost averaging for poor guys like us.

It seems that round lot restriction may be limited to HOLDRs and not SPDRs:

I don't have time right now to search on restrictions regarding SPDRs.
