The most recent approval rating for Bush, taken from an Oct. 3-6 CNN/USA Today/Gallup Poll, stands at 67%. Twenty-eight percent of Americans disapprove of the job Bush is doing as president.

67+28 = 95

By this measure everyone who does not disapprove of Junior is counted as approve? Is there no middle answer?

Bush's approval figures won't make any difference. His party loses seats in both the Senate and the House.
