Actually I was just re-iterating the evidence for skinowski who viewed it as an impulsive wave. Check the original post to which I was responding. I was crediting Velo for spotting the obvious 'b' wave in the FTSE (an index I do not track).

The possibility of that Aug 22 wave being impulsive kept me long for only half this rally unfortunately. marketswing.com

Did you post your chart on Oct 10? I should have paid more attention to your rantings.-g.

I started calling it a B right from the August 22 top. The pattern was supposed to complete on Sept 23 and in fact, there was a low at that pont. I only changed my mind about the B when the Sept 23 lows were taken out. I was hesitant in doing so, but the pattern seemed to channel and the long term cycles fit better with the Oct 10th low. I had not done a lengthy stock chart scan at that point though. Should have stuck to my original thought because I think it was a B as was originally proposed. All the divergences built into this C wave sealed it's fate. The long term cycles at this point should invert including the 9 month and the 4 year cycle as well.

Congrats to you though for sticking to the a-b-c the whole time.
