Yep. The bear is getting a little scary. Not that things are really that bad now but knowing that they will probably get much worse is.

Also the interest rate issue is pretty important. Unfortunately I'm not smart enough to properly discount those types of things. But I don't think we're quite their yet.

We haven't seen total capitulation yet although my Mom said of her 401k a couple of weeks ago, "I just wan't out". She said it in such a strange way that it was at least a mini capitulation. Interesting that it was not too long after the lows. I had just bought some poots and I'm kicking my self for not getting back in long as soon as she said it-g-.

But not everyones son is bear cLown, gloom and doomer. I convinced her to go mostly to bonds and cash a while back but she still has some in equities. She's dying to "get even". Textbook behavior. I think my preaching is starting to sink in. I doubt average bull folks have gave in at all. Hopefully it's not THE bottom or I'll never live it down.
