Cary, let me just say that I believe that while you could be right it is also possible that a lot of bad news is currently being ignored. Hence the 46% rise off the most current bottom for the SOX. Take a look at this theoretical chart of economic cycles based on Sam Stovall's S&P's Guide to Sector Rotation. It suggests that we are for all intents and purposes in full recession: stockcharts.com Of course this chart has been stuck in full recession for like two years. And it's still not at the bottom. RtS
