Europe Intelligence Wire via NewsEdge Corporation : The telecoms operator Dolphin Telecom has asked the French telecoms regulator for permission to use the CDMA-PAMR technology in France. This technology is a variant of CDMA 2000 1x.

Dolphin's French activities involve the operation of a national mobile telephony network for professional customers who have so far been using Tetra technology. It plans to introduce CDMA-PAMR into the parts of France which it does not yet cover commercially.
