I'm only an SV real estate bear, and only then if the markets stay in a funk. Not that I think prices will rise again here- I think they will stay flat at best... but we have already had a fairly severe correction in high priced real estate that miraculously doesn't show up in the NAR stats.

It seems to me most things including housing are much more affordable now than they were in 1989 when I first started working. Cars especially.

wow SONS really getting a pop from that interroute deal, up 62% now and thats on top of the gain from friday. (I know, I know its thirty four cents, but a percentage is a percentage). One of the articles said the interroute deal is less than $10mm, so I thought it was more hype than substance. Otoh, it could be that was perceived as the turn for the company, similar to what happened with vtss.

I must admit this rally is a little more indiscriminate than I'd like. Some good companies that have become pennies are running, but some garbage is also running.
