no rain up here for many moons. very unusual weather - bone dry. thursday is about when we got our first frost as well - can't remember the exact day, but it was last week. i think we're in for a mild winter. it would be great if you and your daughter make it up our way - we've love to have the opportunity to show you around. if you do cruise and it stops in vancouver, make sure to let me know. i hear the cruise to alaska is fantastic - it's on my list of things to do - someday. rhoze
