key words in my comparison "MODERN DAY"
surely different
we trade inflation and currency debasement for localized hardship and ruin
capitalism allows for uneven opportunity and accumulation of wealth
socialism promotes even sharing of misery
central bank currency destruction promotes systemic uniform sharing of the hidden tax almost never discusses, yet totally accepted as part of the financial underpinnings of any system
funny how from 1800 to 1950 there was almost no inflation

I dont expect a Weimar Amerika to bring about women with currency in wheelbarrows
but I do expect what is happening in certain corners of the world with their currency and banking to be duplicated in some more benign form within the United States
I refer to inflation and insecure banks
we have seen it in the past, with serious inflation in the 1970's
we have seen it in the past, with numerous small banks going under, making deposits unavailable

I am glad homelessness and lost wealth and lost pensions and job insecurity and theft and thin health coverage and sheister scams and fired whistleblowers are all things of the past

my government will make sure everything will be fine <G>

have you noticed the increase in reported opinions in the press/media that the central banks and congress and other policymakers seem to contain far less control over the economy and macro functions???

I always attempt to balance my expectations of troubled future times with a dose of reality from govt'al action
I think you read too much into my words
I cite factors, rather than a vivid detailed landscape aftermath
