Well it's there. A move in either direction before the close would make it less doji-ish. I think we will probably go higher, but it's still a bear market. I give an island reversal tomorrow about a 1 in 5 chance unless something big happens.

I think we are getting into bullish delta hedging here. I believe max pain is much lower. I bought some puts in october but I know they are toast. I have no bear hope.

Terrorist attack at a polling place(s) on the morning of election day? Actually, this one's been percolating in my head for a couple of weeks now, I chose to receive an absentee ballot and vote by mail because of it. It would make a lot of "sense" from the Al-Queida point of view...send a message to Shrub, as it were, about the Iraq attack. Would also shag up the election turnout, especially if it happenned early in the day, which would throw the whole electoral process in turmoil (what would they do, a "revote"...would be tied up in courts for months, and with it, the government). Just a dark, dark thought on a beautiful sunny day!
