There is absolutely no support from the countries surrounding Iraq - Not Jordan, Not Turkey, Not Iran, Not Kuwait. It makes no sense to proceed without some support in the area.

If you are paying attention you will have noted that Saudi Arabia and Turkey will not be needed as launch points this time or ever again. That is why they oppose the invasion. They will be rendered militarily irrelevant.
