There was no "unprovoked attack" on South Vietnam.

I said "unprovoked" because we were not provoked. I said "attacked" because we attacked. It's that simple.

The United States was acting in support of the government of South Vietnam...

LOL! Typical Republican, revealing his fascist roots. Do you also believe we should support the current government of Iraq by bombing Iraqi dissidents? I don't believe we should. We attacked the people of South Vietnam because they opposed the brutal dictator who was our puppet.
