<I am aware that there is a fuzzy border here between religions and other life ways etc.>

Exactly... IMO to be 'anti-religion' is to miss the point.. it's to try and label all that is wrong in the world and put it in a box. It IS exactly what many detest in religions IMO... "look at that wrong thinking.... clearly wrong". Well, so is a lot of THEIR belief system [based on religion anyway whether they know it or not BTW].

<<That's why many don't classify Buddhism as a religion.
Is Confucianism a religion?>

I'm not arguing the point... I simply stated that most religious scholars think so.

<Followers of the main religions argue that their belief system is correct. >

"Belief system"... OK. But your all inclusive "followers" [an oversite probably?] is incorrect of course. There are TONS of practicioners that are very aware that other religions have merit and their own has shortcommings.

And that brings us to the all important point... what belief system IS true or correct??? Since the answer is probably NONE, we go to the next step... who's is BETTER?? Or more germain to this conversation, are non-religious belief systems better than religious ones??? Are all non-religious belief systems better than all religious ones [here we can say no]? Are most??

<<All I am saying is that they can't all be correct. >

I thought you said none of them is "true"... but I like the belief system topic better... or I suppose "the way we structure our lives"...

Which takes us to any metaphorical way to describe things that happen in life.
