Correct. No political support... but we do have things Turkey wants, question is can we deliver? And of course, Iran is just sitting back like a big Cheshire Cat... licking it's chops in the background. Removing Saddam by force will provide clear benefits to Iran: the Shia in the Iraqi south will naturally hew closer to Iran (and their co-religionists, the Shia, are the MAJORITY population in Iraq). Iran doesn't have to lift a finger and it comes out of this way better off... and remember, Shia stretch far into northern Saudi Arabia, too.
