Glad to hear you made some money in tech lately. Wish I
could say the same. Bought GIB.A. It immediately dropped
like a stone. Figured it had bottomed. Bought more. It
slipped further into the depths. Would have followed it
down but was running out of oxygen ($$)so couldn't continue
with this deep sea diving trick.

------ Thanks for your truthfullness about your recent experiences with tech. Now in Lornes earlier reply to me he had stated that anyone who invested in almost any tech lately made some really good returns. I countered that almost is not all. And since he did not provide before hand some specific picks to follow or back test. (Remember in his referenced post he gave he only said some of the techs and not which of the techs). We all here could not be certain of his success or failure. I said maybe in fact he had chosen the one or few techs that were actuall falling or doing nothing at the time. We just dont know You in your post provide confirmation of just that with the above GIB.A. ------------- Given that what does that say about Lornes claim??????????????????-----
If you want to believe him and congratulate him based on no evidence. That is your right. You can even do more of that tech fishing. Maybe with better results maybe with the same results or maybe with worse results. Once again thanks for your honesty. Wish more here were that way about their doings. It is only in that way can all learn and benefit. And that is what this forum is suppose to be all about in the first place. -------------

Now, the question is
will the carcass float back to the surface. I keep being
told it is a great company, they're making money, they
keep getting more contracts. All, I believe to be true,
It will eventually float. At which time I'll sell and
place my money elsewhere. Do hate these enforced long
term holds.

-------- The trouble with tech and others is that the longer you have to wait the more trouble one may have to experience before the rise. If it comes at all. Thats why traders dont or cant hold for long they have to hurry to try to catch something else. So they will take a loss in the hopes of catching yet another bigger rise. Trouble is that that may not come for them either. Then the next one will have to be a bigger and greater return just to recoup what has been lost. Those are the facts of most traders trading. ------

Crazy as it would have sounded at the time,
I should have been buying NT or BBD.A. NT at .70 would
have brought a handsome return.

---- And where in all the past postings is there mention of not counting NT out. Who gives beforehand insight into it well before the fact. ME ITS DOCUMENTED. WHERES IS LORNES DOCUMENTED ????????????????????? ----------

Oh, well, live and learn.

----- Perhaps for some it may be a learning experience they can benefit from in the future. Or it may just be, in one ear and out the other. Only to miss out or do the same wrong thing all over again. ---------------
