>>>just remember....theres no backwards charts to follow anymore like we had up until a few weeks ago<<<.....

What??? No more retrace charts??

>>>you better take current t/a and listen close now.....thats why i was serious about the AV last week.....everything says this should not be running up like this.....<<<

What happened to the former T/A? It hasn't been much of a help as of late considering the market continues to make new highs.

I liked it better when we had a map (ggg). Boy i never in my wildest dreams even considered this runnig to 1500 plus on nas. I felt we would get past the 1426 (but not to 1500) to show a higher high and then pullback. the pullback would be the key. if moderate, this jam job would continue. if severe, its back to lows and lower. About a week and a half ago it seemed that it was just a logical timeframe for this to run into elections, FOMC etc. Somewhere in that window it seems as if many bulls even agreed thats where a turn would be likely. So, bears stop figting the big money that has rammed this ralley down our throats leaving the bulls to drive it up. With all that crap out of the way it will open the door for bulls to take profits (smart ones) and bears to enter shorts.
one thing that has crossed a few synapses is if many are thinking this, we may just get phase three of this jam job on 7th/8th and head for highr levels. perhaps your area of 200dma.
Yes i am a wee bit timid of jumping in front of this train.

Jeff,
Good post. Don't forget Pitt's resignation!http://money.cnn.com/2002/11/05/news/bc.financial.usa.pitt.reut/index.htm
This guy was the pitts and I for one am extremely happy he resigned. If 1459 comp is breached is the retrace officially over? If not maybe it just remains on life support<g>. Appreciate your candor about this possibility and it was a "heckofa" of a run while it lasted.
