<Similar in many ways to Bluetooth, the CY694X uses a frequency-hopping, spread-spectrum scheme with 1,600 hops/second over 79 channels in a 1-MHz band. Unlike Bluetooth, it uses 2FSK modulation (vs. GMSK) and 10/15 Hamming-code forward error correction for a maximum data rate of 217.6 kbits/s over a range of 10 meters.>

<<Is this CDMA?>>
Don't know.
Nothing to do with QUALCOMM I think.

No ... I looks like a simplified/ cost reduced Bluetooth.
Bluethooth is/was a MASSIVE expensive design overkill, which is trying to get adopted by one of the most price sensitive electronics markets, PCs.

Would not be surprised if the protocol has some similarities to those used in European DECT phones.
Looks like the data side of DECT phone.

If it's a frequency hopper, it's usually not CDMA.
CDMA works best with direct sequence spread spectrum, not frequency hopping spread spectrum.

Calling wireless USB is mostly spin, but good spin since Cypress pumps out a lot of USB devices.

Intel & Microsoft & Apple will decide if this flys...
