I truly enjoy knowing people from other cultures. Two weeks ago I participated in the last Avon Breast Cancer 3 Day walk in the coastal LA region. DUring the opening ceremonies when we all said a privaate prayer for women with breast cancer, we all held hands. My tentmate ,a Moslem from Pakistan, held hands with a Jewish girl from Israel. IT was a special moment to witness and I feel privileged to be friendly with people from all corners of the world. I couldn't help but wish that others could find some common ground and unite in a cause that held mutual constructive passion. Even if just for a short time.........that short time could be built into a longer bridge. Pat
