That theory on BPCOMPQ sound as plausible as anything I could come up with.

With the spikes in BPCOMPQ, the bear market provided identifiable buy and short points that one could ride up and down.

I will soon know if my BPCOMPQ strategy will work with bull market conditions. Currently I've backtested to Dec 1999. I will need to transcribe a couple more years of data.

NAZ hanging tough this morning despite high overbought conditions. SOX shorts doing nicely though (AMAT and TXN). Suspect the SOX will soon drag the rest of the NAZ down.
