how come everyone pronounced favre, farve anyway

i have told the story b4. no one could pronounce
it right, and fav-ré sounds french which denotes
sissy-fied anyway so he just said, "ok, ok. my
name's farve - the manly man."

i just made the story up. but if you think about it,
you can see that it's true.
