Just noticed BP had some buzz about asbestos today. From Briefing.com Monday...

10:58AM BP edges lower (BP) 38.69 -0.78: Stock slips to lows of the session. Traders are blaming weakness on Bloomberg report of outstanding asbestos claims. BP apparently saying that the claims are not material.

Also looked into the cold pipeline restart issue, which remains murky and controversial. Was reminded that on a cold restart after a recent maintenance shutdown, it sprang leaks in three places. If things get dicy and it stays offline, we could end up with "the world's largest Chapstick".

Think I'll just watch this for a while. Not sure I want to touch it.
