Hey! Nice to come here and find a post on this thread this morning!

(o:

Yep! Summer is gone and the YUCKY weather is indeed here. I'm starting to make a few plans for art-related endeavours to occupy my time this winter as well. Probably not pottery as I still don't have a kiln (Doh!!), but I have a few other tricks up my sleeve. <gg>

Well, this sounds interesting regarding the possible teaching gig. What did you decide to do? I don't want to influence you at all, but I've done a fair bit of teaching in my time... occasionally teaching handspinning as well as agriculture and livestock management courses, and it's usually kind of fun. I've met a lot of nice people this way over the years..some of whom I actually made long-term friendships as a result of meeting them as students in my courses. Also, I found that teaching seemed to revive my own interests and inspire me to do some things I hadn't bothered with in awhile. Nothing quite like being around a bunch of eager students to get your creativity flowing when it's been ebbing away.

Anyhow, I'm sure you'll make the best decision for what to do.

Me? Right now, I think I'm going to pick up where I left off last spring when I was working on that illustrated canoe route guidebook -- and also on an animated short film. Also have a photography project that I'm trying to put together..some prints to be made and framed to go into a venue in the city. Hopefully, I can get my act together and get that done over the next week or so!

Okay...so now the thread is revived. Let's keep it on a roll!
