you people supporting this occupation from your warm homes on the other side of the globe are partly responsible for the suffering of the people on both sides.

Hey, it's just past Midnight here, and I am looking out the open door of my Condo at the Palm Trees rustling to the 76 degree Trade Winds. Probably just as nice where you are. And yes, I know that every time a sparrow falls, you think I am partially responsible. :^)

The Pals have a lot to lose. They are already getting fed up that they are not living as well as they were a couple of years ago, and they are sick and tired of the Police State they live in. They are not going to admit this to the pollsters coming in, but the rumblings are obvious. Whatever solution that is finally brought about is not even going to be negotiated on for a couple of years, so relax.

Yes, the Pals will probably end up settling for a lot less than they could have got a couple of years ago. That's what happens when you lose. And they have lost. That is not my fault, or yours, or the Israelis. Arafat was offered the best deal the Pals will ever see, and he walked away from it. Now they are going to have to live with the results of that decision.

There will never be peace in Israel/Palestine until they arrive at a two-state solution. Until then, the bloodshed will continue. And all you people supporting this occupation from your warm homes on the other side of the globe are partly responsible for the suffering of the people on both sides.

So you think Israel should withdraw from the occupied territories without a peace treaty and without a cessation of terror attacks? Would that really bring peace?
